Lidija Andonov (Sixth June) and Andrija Pavlović (LP Duo, Andy Pavlov) joined forces to create “Mlad & Radostan”, an album which tells the story of the musicians who began their careers in the 1980s in the (now non-existent) state of Yugoslavia. This is their homage to a musical civilisation that has significantly marked many of our lives.

The album was recorded in collaboration with double bassist Greg Cohen, who, throughout his rich career, has collaborated with musicians such as Laurie Anderson, Tom Waits, John Zorn and David Byrne.

“Mlad & Radostan” is released by the label “Sweet Sensation” (Belgrade/Amsterdam/Berlin), founded in early 2021 by members of the band Sixth June and pianist Andy Pavlov.

Singer and actress Lidija Andonov has recorded seven albums with Sixth June, a music duo with strong ties to the visual arts and cinema, and has performed notable concerts around the world at festivals and clubs including Berghain, Berlin. She founded the first dramatherapy association in Serbia.

Andrija Pavlović is a pianist and composer. He is a founder and member of the piano duo LP Duo, with whom he has released eight albums and performed in concerts halls around the world (Carnegie Hall New York, Kennedy Center Washington, Royal Danish Theater and Opera Copenhagen, among others). He also performs and releases albums under the pseudonym Andy Pavlov.
